Floricane
This is actually the traditional Blackberry. Production is carried out by canes grown on previous year and fruits matures generally during summer.
Primocane
Primocane production is a new attribute for Blackberries and is made possible by interspecific breeding. As for raspberries, primocane blackberries are capable of bearing fruits on the current season’s shoot. The primocane fruits will mature generally 2 months after the floricane crop.
