Thunderhead is the first primocane blackberry variety released from the USDA-ARS breeding program in Oregon, `Thunderhead’ is exceptionally vigorous, producing medium-size berries with high gloss, excellent firmness, superb flavor, and relatively small seed size. The berries are recommended for fresh eating. Thunderhead is not fully thornless.
